I went to the deYoung Museum today and checked out the Chihuly exhibit. You should too, it's amazing. (If you have ever been to the Bellagio in Vegas, you've seen his art.) Although Chihuly is known for his glass work, I was really digging his drawings.

this guy is UNREAL. i've never seen his drawings but i can only imagine how fantastic they are. i once saw a chandalier made by him in a musuem and i couldn't take my eyes off of it. but i definitely think his trademark is the ceiling in the bellagio :)
Thanks for this post. I've been in love with Chihuly's drawings for ages. Just the freedom he has when painting & making marks... I love it.
